Hi, my name is Amani Chowdhury and I am a freshman at Bryn Mawr College. I was elected into the Honor Board this year for the 2-year 2014 position and I am super stoked to be working on this board of lovely and amazing ladies.
I was born and raised in Queens, New York and ever since I was a child, I was obsessed with whales, turtles and dolphins. I aspired to be a Marine Biologist but alas, I could not swim….and still can’t… and am scared to try…. so that dream went down the drain. I am now at Bryn Mawr and I am majoring in Undecided! I like blue and stuffed animals and Lord of the Rings and chocolate and Jersey Shore.
I plan to use my position on Honor Board to help promote our Honor Code and our Honor system as a resource and something very unique to the Bryn Mawr community. Because this system is such a unique aspect of our campus community, we as a board plan to better orient the incoming class with this amazing system of honesty and integrity, academically and socially, as well as revamp it for the current Mawrters throughout campus.
