Hi everyone! My name is Priya Saxena and I am the Head of the Honor Board! I’ve been on the Honor Board since my freshman year at Bryn Mawr and am extremely excited to work in my new position.
I was born in New York on October 23, 1990. Then I came to Bryn Mawr!
I double major in Growth and Structures of Cities and Political Science at Haverford College. When I’m older I hope to be working as a public policy analyst in Washington, D.C.
I work as a Supervisor in Haffner Dining Hall and a Tour Guide in Admissions.
My favorite color is hunter green and I really enjoy playing piano and singing. I wish I was a really good basketball player, but I’m not that coordinated.
I’m really looking forward to my term as Honor Board Head. I hope the Honor Board becomes a more visible resource on campus and plan to hold open monthly meetings for the Bryn Mawr community, to increase dialogue between Professors and students regarding the Honor Code, to help students become more comfortable with “confrontation” – social and academic – and to revamp the Honor Code orientation process for first year students so it becomes one that is friendly and easier to understand.
